Nadine Kelley's Porcupine Balls

1 pound ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup uncooked white rice
a little vegetable oil
1 can tomato soup

Mix ground beef, chopped onion, and rice into golf-sized balls. Brown in a little oil. When brown, pour in 1 can tomato soup. Cover the pot and simmer for about 1/2 hour.
